4th of July

My snow ball cupcakes. Courtesy of Pinterest. They were so fun to make! Grace my assistant helped me make the cake and Maddie my other assistant helped frost and insert straws. This is a keeper for next year. That is one of 2 pictures I took that day. Well, 3 if  you count the picture of the fireworks that didn't turn out. I am getting so bad at taking pictures these days. Here is number 2.

Daddy and Maddie. Aren't they cute? Except Maddie is distracted by the fireworks and gigantic bugs the size of her head flying around. Or maybe it was the frogs all along the pond that were almost as loud as the fireworks. Either way it was a typical Louisiana summer night down on the bayou baby. And just for fun....here is number 3. It's a beauty isn't it?
