Ringing the Bell

Ms. Sassypants to the left accomplished a first at gymnastics this week! I was sitting upstairs chatting with a friend when we heard this loud cowbell ringing sound. Not sure what it was, I peaked over the rail and there stood Grace in all her glory. :) Whenever you accomplish a new "stunt" in class you get to ring the bell, and everyone stops what they are doing and clap their hands and cheer for you. Talk about positive reinforcement! Grace learned to do a back-walk-over. Which is basically doing a backbend and then kicking one leg over, followed by the other. Not easy to do, and she has been practicing lots around the house. Little stinker did it today. So proud of her. Awesome to see her try really hard at something and succeed. This is just the beginning.....I have a feeling.
