Don't you love my "lego guitar"! Maddie and I did karaoke to "Don't Stop Believin'", and we brought down the Lego house.
There is no Lego Land without Buzz.
Cutest almost 2 year-old on the planet!
Cousin Winston.....love him!
We went on our last road trip for the summer. And we decided, for kicks and giggles, to go somewhere even more hot than where we live. Dallas. The high reached around 110-112 everyday we were there. Yuck! Not fun to run in either. Buuuutttt....we did see some of our most favorite people, so that made up for the heat. We hung out with Grandma and Popa, Aunt Rachel/Uncle Carl and Winston, and Uncle Matt. Even met up with some friends at Lego Land who drove up from Austin to hang with us. Fun stuff. And she delivered all sorts of gluten free goodies to me. So nice to have a fellow gluten free friend who understands how awesome a piece of uber soft bread can be that doesn't taste like cardboard. We are home and officially tired. Laying low and gearing up for the first day of school which starts one week from today. Crazy. Where did summer go?! The lazy days of summer are about to turn into homework, early wake-up times, packing lunches, and carpool. But they also bring my favorite time of year.....FALL! So, I guess I can focus on the silver lining here.
