It is a yucky, rainy, overcast day here. So one of my favorite assistants and I are baking up a storm to pass the day. Crazy hair, frosting all over her face, and clothes covered in flour = a successful recipe. Soup is in the slow cooker, banana bread is in the oven, and we have moved on to something that involves lots of flour and cookie cutters. My kitchen looks like a total disaster. Yikes! Daddy and Caleb are going to be the clean-up crew. ;)
Aren't our creations so cute?! Could I sound more prideful? Yes....I could, trust me. My first attempt with cookie cutters, homemade frosting, and Wilton frosting tip #5. Let the obsession begin. I am in love.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom.
