Editing

On my list of "to-do's" for a LONG time has been to finally learn how to use our amazing camera we have had for almost 2 years! It's a Canon EOS 40D and I love it. In order to do this it requires signing up for a class, and learning how to edit pictures. Well today was day one of my "cyber class" and I learned something VERY exciting. How to darken the edges of a picture. I know...it's exciting isn't it?!?! Photoshop can be a pretty scary thing when you have NO idea what to do with it. And today it became a little less scary. This is a picture of Jack after he decided to run away into the woods for a little excursion. Grace actually took the photo and that is me in the background getting ready to hose off his dirty limbs. Played around with the colors, darkened the edges and, voila! He looks rather sad because....well he should be. He disobeyed! And nobody disobeys in our house. Yeah right!! :)

We are cleaning and disinfecting after a weekend of the stomach flu. Eeeew! Caleb got it first, followed by Grace, and then me. Yes, me. I think there should be some unwritten rule that if a mom has to clean-up after her kids stomach virus, she should NOT be able to get it. Maddie and daddy are still going strong...and praying it stays that way. Our washer is getting a workout today.
