The kids had their "Veterans' Day Program" at school today. So cute! Caleb's class played a song with bells, Grace's class sang a song, and Maddie's class sang "Yankee Doodle Dandy" which brought the house down. Maddie has been practicing like crazy at home for this song, for weeks she's been singing it. I thought for sure she was going to be belting it out...and she walked out on stage and the picture above is the position she stood in the whole time. Couldn't even see her face! I couldn't believe my third child/most outgoing person on the planet child was SHY!! I guess sometimes you just have those days. Her hat may have been just a tad too big though...maybe that was it. :) She still looked beyond adorable to me! All 3 did a great job, and it was nice to honor the veterans that showed up for the program today and all over the country.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
