Well after 13 hours and 2 stops at McDonalds, 1 stop at Chick-fil-a, 2 stops for gas, 3 stops for bathroom, one near dog running into the woods at the rest area, 4 movies, lots of Radio Disney, and a FULL bag of Skittles...we are home! And we had a fabulous time. Spent almost everyday at this park up the road and after a little coaxing Jack went down the slides too. :) So wonderful to see all of Drew's family and hang for a week. Lots of laughter, craziness, and fun times. Memories of making pies and Norweign pancakes with Grandma, cousin Winston, the Arboretum, meeting up with friends from Austin, turkey hand print cookies, crazy popcorn M&M cake, turkey place cards, banana peel game (I'm practicing Judy..next time you are mine!), trips to Poppa's school, fire ants at the park, trips to see Uncle Matt at Starbuck's, Food Network, movies late at night, and the list goes on. We had such a great time and the kids got in some quality grandma and poppa time. Thank you Alex and Judy for giving up your bed and room for the week!! We love you. Are they not the cutest couple ever?!?!
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
