Lots of packing and preparing going on around here as we get ready for our big roadtrip. The washing machine is getting a workout since I have to do LOTS of laundry before I can even pack. Getting Jack ready, getting the car "stuff" ready, and the list goes on.
So much to be thankful for though as we begin our trip. We have had a wonderful year this year in our new home, with new friends, and a new school. Lots of changes since last Thanksgiving, but the kids (and us!) are doing great. We are thankful for our health and all that we have been blessed with this year. So many friends around us have had major "stuff" going on in their lives and we are very aware of the fact that we are blessed to have a job and three healthy children. We also know that life does not always involve happy, fun stuff, so we are enjoying the ride right now...not knowing what the future holds and being ok with that. Happy Thanksgiving to all.....
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
