little dude. Except he is not so little anymore. He is going to be 9 years-old! Can't believe it. He will always be the little boy who was obsessed with any rainboot he could get his hands on. Always.....
So presents are being wrapped, round two of cakes is being made, brownies are being made for school tomorrow, and a special dinner of his choice is starting to form. The next 4 days are always hard every year with Grace's b-day being on Saturday. I try as hard as I can to make her's equally as special since it is not her fault her mom and dad like to have children in September. We eat lots of cake in September that's for sure! So tomorrow is Caleb's b-day, Thursday I work at the school all day, Friday I have my last 20-miler for the marathon (hallelujah!), and Saturday is Grace's big day. Makes me tired typing it, but I think I am up to the challenge. ;)
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
