I think today we are all missing Austin. Not sure if it's the SUPER cold weather...that it's Sunday and we haven't found a church that even holds a candle to the one we left...meeting friends for Target runs/coffee/or whatever...playdates with buddies on days with no school....and I could go on and on. We are settling into our life here, and thankful for Drew's job. Especially in light of todays current econmic status for the country. But, realizing what we left behind more and more as we get settled here. We ALL miss the kids school so much. So lucky to have had almost three years there...and made some forever friends too (for mommy and kids!). Caleb is missing his friends and doesn't like the fact that they are moving on without him. Hard to learn that kind of stuff at the age of 8. I think I'm getting too old for this moving stuff. :) Ready to stay put for awhile.....just not sure where that is yet.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
