Maddie turned 8.....about 10 days ago. I'm posting it now because that is how I seem to roll these days. And frankly I'm in denial my youngest child is 8! Crazy. She is growing so fast and turning into a little lady. She talks like a big girl now, wants to do big girl things, and told me yesterday she no longer likes the Disney princess plates and forks that are in our kitchen. What?! I still like them. Guess I'll be the only one using them. But, she is still obsessed with My Little Pony so all is good and right with the world. She reads like crazy and spends most of her time pretending she is a mom to whatever animals are the "chosen" ones for the day. She is going to be the best momma someday. And you can quote me on that.
We love you Madeline Olivia! Can't imagine this family without your silly giggles and ear piercing-earth shattering screams that fill this house. ;) Seriously. This girl has some pipes. Love your little dimple that is right in the middle of your nose that only comes out when you are laughing a certain way and your crazy curly hair. So thankful to be your momma and that I get to be on this roller coaster of life with you by my side. You'll always be a 6 year-old to me though. Sorry. I know that will cause some issues down the road, but I'm just letting you know now. I love you to the moon and back my sweet girl.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom.
