Homecoming
Homecoming was last weekend. It was fun to have crazy dress down days like tie-dye day, throw back day, crazy hat day, pajama day, and spirit day. And Grace and Maddie attended a camp a few weeks ago to learn a routine for the half-time show. It was open to friends and family, so Grace was able to attend and see all her friends...which she loved! And, go figure, they put her in the front row right in the middle. Little miss thing loves to dance and smile and put on a show...and it didn't take the cheerleaders long to figure that out! And I am still trying to take deep cleansing breaths every time I type that. She is so tall too! I'm thinking basketball? ;)
Both girls loved being out on the big football field and Maddie loved that she got to stand next to her big sister. And all 50 of us moms stood on the sidelines taking pictures like we were the paparazzi. It was actually quite humorous. Loving the school Caleb and Maddie are at and the friends we are making. Taking each year as it comes and right now it feels pretty good to be right where we feel we should be with each child. Love to see them thrive and grow both spiritually and mentally and allign themselves with friends who encourage and make them laugh. Ahhh....self-esteem, it's a wonderful thing isn't it?!
