I am knee deep in burgers and fries...all for a boy who turns 10 tomorrow!! I can't believe it, but that is a whole different post. So, at the request of the birthday boy, we are making brownie burgers and french fries out of sugar cookies. I got the idea here. This boy loves his brownies. Not really a big fan of cake (much to his mothers dismay!!). So, his treats for things usually come in the form of something that resembles a brownie. I'm a little tired of brownies, so we went searching for some different options and came across these. Let the burger madness begin, and the tinting of fake lettuce, ketchup, and mustard. Don't think I'll be eating brownies or cake for awhile.....
Can I just add how chaotic it is to have 2 of your children with birthdays 3 days apart. Try not to do that...for the sake of your sanity. But, we are persevering and powering through. :) Baby steps...and first comes Caleb. Love this boy so very much.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom.
