She has hit the double digits! 10 years old. And this so ends our birthday streak for the month of September. Grace had a great day. A little bummed she had to go to school on her bday, but I brought her lunch and birthday cake to share with her class in the cafeteria, so it wasn't allllll bad. She woke up with a smile of her face that didn't stop until her head hit the pillow that night. One of the best smiles I have ever seen. Her WHOLE face lights up when she smiles. Love it.
It was a Paris themed day from start to finish. Grace is obsessed with all things Paris so most of her gifts had a Paris theme to them. And, she is officially saving for her trip to Paris when she is older. I'm thinking a mommy/Gracie trip is in order someday. How fun would that be?! So happy birthday to our Amazing Grace. Love you so very much. Your resilience and strength to keep pushing yourself to do better is something we all notice and love about you. So thankful this family is blessed with your singing voice and encouraging words (most of the time ;)) that come out at just the right moments it seems. Can not wait to see what God has in store for you this year ma gentil petite fille.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
