We are taking this whole "
reading chart" thing VERY seriously around here. I am so thankful to have stumbled upon this whole idea. Really. Case in point....the picture above. I was sitting at the table organizing our crazy summer and looked up to see this. Be still my heart. Thought I was going to fall over because those couldn't be my children could they?! Called daddy to the window to get a look before the moment poofed by us or we woke-up. We both laughed and threw out a couple of one liners, but beneath the sarcasm were two very happy parents. Reading is the best thing ever. I am crossing all my fingers and toes that they learn to LOVE to read. Nothing better on a summer day........
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
