totally out of focus...grrrrr.
We had another successful and fun trip to Dallas last week. It's always great getting to spend time with Drew's side of the family, and an added bonus that almost his whole family is in the Dallas region. One of my favorite things about Grandma and Grandpa's house is how it is always so laid back and everyone just kind of hangs out. Some watch TV, some read, some play upstairs, and some of us sneak out to run errands. ;) Always hard to leave knowing we won't see them for a few months, and the kids love it there. We also do Caleb's yearly appointment with Dr. Beauchamp every November since we are usually there. He is one amazing man and pediatric opthamologist and truly has made such an impression on Caleb's little life. He knows his eyes better than anyone with having done 5 surgeries on them and we will drive or fly to see him wherever we live. We think the world of him, and it always warms my heart to see him and Caleb interact at their check-ups. Caleb's eyes are doing awesome, and we got a clean bill of health for another year. Praise the Lord.
Memories of coconut cream pie, Steak and Shake, day after Thanksgiving shopping, Uncle Matt snoring on the floor, the hokey pokey at Babe's, pedicures with Grandma, Cousin Winston, and movies at the mall will stay with us forever. Thanks for a wonderful week Granny and Poppa. :)
