Spooky....and Jo Jo

2 Pink Ladies and an Urlacher

Coooooool.

Continuing my yearly tradition of Smiling Oddly-While Trying Not to be Distracted by Weird People All Around Me - While Holding Glow Sticks, Bags of Candy, and a Drink.
"Auntie Jo Jo"

One more of Urlacher

We had a very successful weekend, complete with out of town family coming to see us. Aunt Joanna (Auntie Jo Jo!!) came to spend some time with us and we all had such a good time. It's been way too long since we've seen her, and the kids loved her to pieces. She has a way with children that is truly a gift. We laughed so much with her here and she fit right into our crazy little family perfectly. She even loves to bake as much as I do. ;) So fun when your expectations on how a weekend will go are way beyond what you could have imagined. So easy to see why she is a family favorite amongst all the cousins. We are already plotting and planning a way to see her again. Sweet Grace even cried when she left this morning. They bonded over music and "producing" songs on her iPad. She helped Grace with school a lot too, which Grace (and Joanna) loved. My car seemed a little too quiet without my friend up front to chat with.

So we are overflowing with candy and all things sugar while attempting to come down from planet Halloween. Trying to work some routine back into our day for the next few weeks until we have Thanksgiving!! Can't wait. Favorite holiday of the year by far. And we get to see "Granny" and Poppa. And I have some serious cookie orders to crank out in the next few weeks! I am actually going to get paid for my cookies people. Who would have thunk it. Always saw myself paying people to take my cookies. ;)
