We attended Maddie's first soccer game today. First time she has ever played a "sport" that didn't include a leotard or ballet shoes. She was too stinkin' cute. I think I had a big old cheesy grin planted on my face the whole time. She was good! And I wouldn't say that if she wasn't. Seriously. She was one of two girls on her team, and played against a team of ALL boys. Not scared at all. Even knocked over a few of them to get to the ball. She is offically in LOVE with soccer. My little peanut who is so skinny she had to pull her shorts up the whole time totally kicked some booty today. So proud.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
