One Little Word

Borrowed this photo from Ali Edwards blog. Another one of my crazy traditions that I do every year.....pick one word...or a word that seems to choose me for the year. Last year my word was time. I ordered a necklace with that word on it, and wore it almost everyday. Got my necklace from here last year, which is where I will be getting it from this year. Have a handful of her necklaces, and I love them.

My word for this year is PEACE. Allowing myself to enjoy it more and rest in it. To be quiet more this year in my time here at home and open to what comes my way. Making peace with the past and trying to move forward with an open mind and open heart. I am ready for what this year holds and where God leads me. Ready for this word to surprise me and teach me. Ready to slow down, relax more.....and feel peaceful. Welcome 2011.
