Mmmmm....Waffle House. We got the chance to spend the morning with one of my BFF's from Austin! The Ehlis's were on their way back from Disney, and we met for breakfast off an exit close to our house. Our kids bonded over waffles and bacon, and we crammed as much conversation as we could in a short time. It was wonderful to see Wendi. One of the first friends I made back in Austin and we bonded over having our first child in Kindergarten. We had tons in common, and became fast friends. I count her as one of my truest friends in life, and love that I got to rub her belly as she awaits child #5 in 8 weeks!!
I say all the time how much it stinks moving as much as we do, but I always follow it with how lucky I am to have met so many people scattered around this earth. God has blessed me with some pretty amazing friends that I never would have met had we not moved 30 times. ;) Go Waffle House!!
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
