Tomorrow is my last day teaching P.E., and if I weren't drowing in water balloons, I think I'd be a little more sad. In the past 24 hours I have filled 400 balloons with water, made 64 ice cream sandwiches, filled 2 colors with ice and Gatorade, and cleaned the house for a showing. We are going to have a blast tomorrow! I can't wait to see the kids just having fun, relaxing, and celebrating the end of the year. They have done such a good job this year and I am going to miss them SO much when we move. I went into this position ready and armed to teach them all I could about health and fitness, and I'm leaving with so much more that they have taught me. I've learned I really enjoy teaching. Not sure if PE is something I want to do forever, but we'll see what the future holds. I'm thinking any job I can do at my kids school that they pay me for sounds like a plan to me!! Plus, I secretly think they treat your kids a little nicer when you are on staff. ;) So tomorrow I am packing the sunscreen for a fun water-filled day with the best kids ever!!! Let the Wacky Summer Olympics begin. I think my hands are going to smell like latex for the rest of the year......Wednesday, May 19, 2010
Let the Games Begin!!

Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom.
