Fake Birthday

Maddie has a summer birthday, which I think is so cool. She, on the other hand, isn't such a fan of the fact that she can't have a birthday party at school like all her other friends. So, we decided to have a "fake-birthday" today at school. That way she can have a chance to sit in the birthday chair at school, have all her friends sing to her, share cupcakes with everyone, and hand out goodie bags that we made. It's quite the deal to hand out goodie bags I guess....quite the deal. Her birthday is a month away, and she loved getting to eat some cake early. Personally any chance to eat cake is good in my book! We had a fabulous day celebrating this little one-dimpled girl.
