Saving the Day

Grandma has just arrived on her chariot otherwise known as Southwest Airlines to save the day. She is here to watch the munchkins while Drew and I head to Chicago tomorrow (again!). More tests, more poking and prodding with wicked long needles, more of me in those super-stylish hospital gowns, and laying in MRI machines that sound like they are going to fall apart while I am in there. But on the bright side it's also more quality spent with Drew, more chances to sit in hospitals and watch random movies we never would see, more walks to Garrett's Popcorn inbetween tests, a night (or two) away spent in Chicago, and more chances for him to see me in those super, sexy hospital gowns. ;) Kids are super excited to see Grandma again. And we are so thankful that she dropped all she was doing last minute to fly out here so Drew can come with me to Chicago. Walking to Garrett's just isn't the same if there isn't someone to do it with. Pray for us this weekend. Answers would be wonderful. 2 months of this is starting to drive me a little insane, and for the sanity of my family and myself, I just want to know what is going on. But we also know where we put our trust, and that this situation is so much bigger than just me. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jer.29:11) So we are off! Thankfully the sun is shining and no snow is predicted this time.
