Trying to get back to life as usual. Trying to eat some more of things pictured to the right. Trying to not obsess about things I can't control. Trying to love the everyday moments with my family more today than I did yesterday. Trying to use more patience and less loudness. Trying to appreciate more and take for granted less. And trying not to be upset that my little monkeys gave me their strep throat! :) Nothing a giant shot of penicillin to the behind can't cure.Doctors in Chicago still can't explain what is going on, and have decided we need to take the "wait and see" approach. Something I am SO not good at. But, they are hopeful whatever I have will go away. So, we are forging on with life as usual and using this as my "mid-life" wake-up call to squeeze those around me more. Never can do that enough.......
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
