This little fishy had her second swim lesson yesterday and did so good!! I have been dragging her all over the place with Caleb and Grace's swim team "stuff" and it is finally her turn. She is learning to do the backstroke with the best of them. Loves the water. Always has, since she could get her chubby little hands in it and splash around. Swimming to me is a necessity, not much choice or room for debate at this age. What they do with it down the road is totally up to them. I want them to do things that bring them happiness and contentment. I would love it if 1 out of 3 of our children would choose to swim, and I think we have one that will. We shall see.....in the mean time, I love watching them learn to swim and seeing the big smiles that come with that. Our last little fishy is learning to swim, and while that makes me super happy, it also is another reminder that these kids are growing-up. Too fast if you ask me.Monday, February 1, 2010
Little Fishy

Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
