God is good!

I feel like I have been on a roller coaster ride for the past month and a half, and when they stop to let people off, I am forced to stay on. What a crazy road this health stuff has been. I've hesitated posting stuff because I'm not sure how much to keep personal, and let others pray for. We finally got into Northwestern Memorial Hospital last week to see a neurologist and it was SO scary and horrifying and amazing all at the same time. There is nothing like stepping through the doors of a hospital to put things into perspective. We had the BEST experience with everyone we encountered and the staff bent over backwards to get me into tests that normally take a full week to get into. Lots of tests, and meetings with doctors, and more tests, and sitting in hotel rooms waiting. Lots of shopping on Michigan Avenue, and Garrett's Popcorn, and Ann Sather's, and Gino's East, and Luxe Cafe, and the list goes on. So in all the craziness, Drew and I got to spend 3 nights in the city and try to have as much fun as one person can have when she feels like crap and doesn't know why. :) I have the best husband ever. It's so easy to take for granted the one's you see everyday isn't it? The longer I am married to this man, the more I come to the conclusion I am one blessed girl. I have a husband who will love me no matter what condition I am in. And as we continue to journey down this path together, I am SO thankful he is by my side. And patient with me when he has to peel me down off the ceiling as we wait on answers regarding my health. God is good...and how thankful are we to have someone we can "hand" the bigger things in life over to. I couldn't imagine it any other way, and I'm so thankful I don't have to. So continue to pray for us, we got some good news today about one of the tests and I am encouraged. The sun is shining, 6 inches of snow has fallen, and God is good. (Isaiah 40:31)
