Happy Birthday Daddy! The big 4-0! I feel bad it's on a Wednesday and we aren't doing much to celebrate "40 style". Not that I really know what we would do anyway. I guess all that really matters is that we are all together. We are taking daddy to a hibachi place where they have giant flames going off in front of you. The kids LOVE it, and anytime we can make an occasion out of it, we do. Capping off the evening with presents and cake. What more could you ask for on your 40th birthday? Love you daddy. Thank you for taking such good care of us....for being the kind of dad most kids dream about, for showing our children a love for the outdoors and fishing, for being silly at the drop of a hat and making us laugh, for having the patience to teach them things I do not have the patience for, for showing them how much you love God any chance you get, and for building the COOLEST sledding courses in our backyard complete with turns and hills. How did we get so lucky?!

Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
