Madeline's class made these awesome trees at school this week. All the moms were waiting for them to walk around the corner at pick-up, and when they all came down they were wearing these trees! So stinking cute! So I, of course, made her put it back on when we got home so I could snap a photo. Notice the shoesless feet...yep..mom of the year right here. Didn't even notice until I looked at the picture that my little stinker didn't put her shoes on. It was only about 30 degrees that day. Nice!We are in full Christmas mode around here. School ended today with a bang! Class parties were super fun and we all gorged ourselves on cookies and candy. I was feeling the love from my kids that I teach. My little mailbox at school was FULL of fun gifts from my students. I have to say that since I'm not with them everyday and I am only the P.E. teacher, I didn't even think to expect such LOVE. Loved all my handmade cards, and candles, and gift cards, and candy, and the list goes on. How lucky am I?!?! So we are getting ready for Christmas and making our lists and checking them twice. Was at Toys R Us today, and I pray that is the last time I have to step foot in that place until Maddie's b-day in June. 7 days until Christmas......are you ready?? :)
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom.
