We began the day with a giant, goopey, frosting, candy mess! The kids had a blast decorating their houses. A tradition we started years ago...and a favorite around here for sure. So funny to me the way they each create, some taking their time and some just making a giant frosting mess. I will always be amazed by how God created three totally different people, from the same gene pool. Each one unique in their own way, each one adds so much to this family dynamic, and each one we couldn't imagine a life without. So thankful for these three munchkins!! And we have LOTS to do in preperation for family coming...so we are about to run some errands. We'll see how they do??

Gingerbread Houses
We began the day with a giant, goopey, frosting, candy mess! The kids had a blast decorating their houses. A tradition we started years ago...and a favorite around here for sure. I will always be amazed by how God created three totally different people, from the same gene pool. Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
