Well...the day is almost done, and I'd say it was pretty successful from a 7-year old standpoint. We had a full day filled with lots of eating! The highlight of the day for sure was getting Grace's ears pierced. Big deal! And she was SO brave. I mean not one tear...not even a wimper. I think I was more nervous than her. She was really ready to get this done, and has been wanting it for awhile. The lady who pierced her ears couldn't have been more amazing too, so we really lucked out. The only thing missing was Grandma. She said to me, "I wish Grandma Sophie was here right now." You would have been so proud of her Grandma!! :) Right now everyone is watching a movie and enjoying the perfect end to a perfect day. Love you Gracie girl!! Stop growing up ok?!?! I remember sitting in a hospital room 7 years ago, just staring at you. A little more confident of the journey ahead of us since you were #2, and SO excited to have a little girl. You have more than exceeded everything we could have hoped for, and although I know it isn't easy being the middle child sometimes, you are doing an amazing job and handling all the responsibility like a pro. Can't say I'm surprised......
