Our trip home with three VERY tired kids, 1 VERY tired dog, and two VERY tired parents. We had so much fun though! Who needs sleep anyway? :) A fun time at the Backie's as usual. Jack got lots of lovin' from kids in the neighborhood (and adults!) so he was one happy dog. Love that we got to take him with us. Getting back into life as usual around here. Thankful to have had a 3-day weekend to get daddy for 3 days straight. Kids loved it, and so did mommy!!Tuesday, September 8, 2009
Heading Home
Our trip home with three VERY tired kids, 1 VERY tired dog, and two VERY tired parents. We had so much fun though! Who needs sleep anyway? :) A fun time at the Backie's as usual. Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
