We have squash!! So exciting. Three whole yellow squash are ready to be picked...and eaten. All thanks to daddy and his mad skills in the garden. We have tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro (sensing a salsa theme here?), thyme, carrots, and basil. It's pretty amazing that you stick something in the ground and it can yield so much. The "garden bug" is biting us around here, and I am envisioning a MUCH bigger spread next year. I'm sure daddy will be very excited when he reads this. :)Wednesday, August 5, 2009
We Have Squash
We have squash!! So exciting. Three whole yellow squash are ready to be picked...and eaten. All thanks to daddy and his mad skills in the garden. Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom.
