Lots of last minute shopping was done today. We had the school supply list to finish up, and a few odds and ends clothing wise. The day started off with a trip to Starbuck's. Of course!! Nothing makes this girl happier than a Caramel Macchiato from there. So..she got a decaf and mommy got one FULL of caffeine. From there it was lots of errands and "mommy time". I can't believe everyone starts school in 2 days. Crazy! Summer is officially almost over. The car is full of gas and ready to go!! I have a feeling I am going to be spending most of my days in the car this year.Sunday, August 16, 2009
Getting Ready
Lots of last minute shopping was done today. We had the school supply list to finish up, and a few odds and ends clothing wise. The day started off with a trip to Starbuck's. Of course!! I can't believe everyone starts school in 2 days. Crazy! Summer is officially almost over. The car is full of gas and ready to go!! Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
