Caleb got the "game ball" from yesterday's game. That is a big deal around here because getting it means you played a great game and had a good attitude throughout the whole thing. Being 8 means you are on the cusp of not getting upset when you strike out. Some days most of the boys on the team take it in stride, other days....a few tears are shed. It's definately a learning process to control the emotions of failing at something you put all your heart into and it doesn't go the way you may have planned. Who am I kidding, I'm still controlling my emotions and I'm a lot older than 8!! So, celebratory oreo shakes from Sonic were in order for all on the way home yesterday. Gotta love summer and Sonic right daddy? ;)

Game Ball
Caleb got the "game ball" from yesterday's game. That is a big deal around here because getting it means you played a great game and had a good attitude throughout the whole thing. Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom.
