Super Noots are in the house! We are starting something new around here. And that is that my children are going to start making their OWN healthy choices about food. Instead of me always deciding for them (with a little help) what fruits and veggies they are going to eat.....it's their turn. These little boards are now hanging next to our fridge and each of those little button looking things are magnets. The day starts with all the food groups empty and then as they eat throughout the day, they are going to decide how to fill the circles. And best of all when to get the coveted "treat" magnet. I have a feeling I may allow more than one of these!! They are super excited to start tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. Mommy and daddy are playing along too. We just don't have super cool magnets like they do.
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
