Today Grace and I went to our "special" lunch place to hang-out. This girl loves her Panera! So whenever I tell her she can choose the place to go, this is what she wants. We ran a few errands on the way and I let her get a journal/notebook and some new crayons. She was SO in her element today. Nothing makes her happier than a fresh new pad of paper and new crayons. So we chatted about super important stuff like why her gerbil has a puffy eye, what kind of flowers Mrs. May would want for teacher appreciation week, that she was a little nervous about swim team on Monday, and how excited she is for school to be done for the year and summer to begin. Stuff that is a big deal to her on this day....and I love that she wants to share it with me. Hopefully we will continue on this path of "sharing" as she gets older and the problems get bigger. Love you Gracie girl!!
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
