This weekend was spent doing all things outdoors. Drew has been itching to get outside and tear up the mini-forest of overgrowth that has been growing in our backyard. The house we bought sat empty for almost 2 years..so there is lots to be done outside. He rented a chipper and a chain saw and went to town on it all. Totally his thing..so it was a good weekend for daddy. :) He cleared an area now know as the "firepit" where we made s'mores last night for the first time. I'm thinking we are going to be using that a lot throughout the summer. It was a fun weekend spent at home, which was kind of nice. We opted to not go into the city and do the St. Patrick's Day parades as first planned. It just wasn't working out time wise, and we really got to enjoy a great weekend outside here at home. Can't wait for spring to get here!!
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
