G-ma and Poppa

So, we had some visitors Labor Day weekend......and I never posted pictures. I get a C- for posting to this blog lately. Ugg. It's not for lack of interest. More lack of time which is crazy because I don't work! But, I feel like I'm two steps behind and will be until we can get this house in order and settled. BUT....back to G-ma and Poppa. Had so much fun with them here! And they actually had there own room this time. All to themselves.

They arrived and as hard as I tried to not have them work, they jumped in with blue tape and paint brushes and off they went. We now have a living room that used to be a way too cheery yellow that is now an awesome shade of grey. Poppa was a painting machine I tell you! And then when he finished that he went to the windows, and while he was doing that G-ma gave the sewing machine a workout with super fun valances for Grace's room. Paris themed of course. We did let them stop to swim and relax some. And I did feed them, although they don't eat much.

Thank you for coming to our house and leaving it with all kinds of reminders of you! I think of you guys almost every time I walk through my grey living room.
