We have been busy little bees these past few weeks. Just when I think things are getting slow again, something else comes up. Crazy. I am becoming such a homebody in my old age. ;) I would much rather just hang out at home after school and let the kids run around and get all sweaty than shuttle them all over town from one sport to the next. Thankfully, I chose to make this an easy fall for many reasons and I'm glad I did. Once we get into the school year more, I'll throw everyone back into sports and live in my car. For now, I am loving coming home and watching them run around and call me outside to check out their chalk "art". I caught Maddie deep in thought as she was drawing this yesterday and loved that she actually loves her family enough to think to write it without any direction. She could have written "Justin Bieber rules", or "Hannah is my best friend", but instead she wrote she loves US! Nevermind the fact that two minutes later she and Grace were fighting over the blue chalk.....she loves us....she really loves us. And we love her too.
