We had visitors this weekend! Grandma and Grandpa John came to sweat it out down in the bayou with us. And it is steamy hot down here. Yuck. One thing I love when they come is how they are up for just about anything. And we ran them around a lot. We saw movies, went down waterslides, played Monopoly, went fishing on the boat, ate dinner in New Orleans, and they even babysat so daddy and I could go on a much needed date. An action packed trip, and I know as they got on the plane today....they are VERY much looking forward to going to bed early and sleeping in. :)
We are so thankful they came to see us and the next time we see them, hopefully it will involve some snow and skiing!
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
