Sometimes when I walk into Hobby Lobby, I am on a mission...ready to execute my perfect plan. And then I walk over to the floral section, take one look at the gazillions of flowers, and I freeze. So I gave myself a little pep talk today before I walked in. I knew exactly what I was looking for. I told myself to walk straight to the yellow section of florals, and don't look back. I did. And it worked. :)
I had bought these really cool stem looking flowers with red for Christmas, that stretched into Valentine's Day because it is red, and I figured why not. After looking at them for 3 months, I wanted to change them out. I have a GIANT vase that sits on our kitchen table, and I've grown rather fond of it. I wanted to find yellow "springy" one's to brighten up the kitchen. It turned out so cute! I filled the bottom of the vase with moss and found some cute little purple butterflies to put on the stems, and voila. A plan that actually came together. Feels good for once. For every one that comes together, there are 3 half-finished projects sitting in my closet. Bring on spring! We are in the 70-80's, so I may as well embrace it.
