When your day ends with a lifesize bucket of Tootsie-Rolls in your lap...you know it's been a good one. Add to that a movie to watch WHILE eating the tootsie-rolls, and well...you get the point. Maddie has been my car buddy for the summer. C and G have been doing some tutoring during the week which means that leaves a lot of time for the two of us to hang-out. Totally reminds me of the days before she started school. She has been my grocery shopping, Target, Sam's Club, and Bed Bath and Beyond buddy this summer. Most days we just chill at Barnes and Noble because they have free air conditioning, and it beats hanging in the car. Lots of reading time and coffee time. A win/win for everyone. Today is our last tutoring session for the summer, which means it's the last time Mads and I get to chill for the afternoon. And, I have something special up my sleeve..........
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
