My youngest is 6 years-old. That thought kept going through my head many times today. Seems so crazy 6 years have gone by, and yet in many ways it seems as it should be. I can't believe how fast she is growing. Much faster than I think my heart is ready for. We had a fun girly day today. Caleb and Grace had tutoring, so that left us with most of the afternoon to hang out. We did pedicures and some shopping at Target complete with popcorn. Had the best time with her today, just hanging out. She is so girly...which I LOVE! :) Loves getting her toes and nails painted and I can see this being a fun mommy/Maddie outing in the future. So, as I type this, the presents have been ripped opened, cake has been consumed, outfits have been changed 3 times, balloons are starting to lose their helium, and everyone is watching a movie. My little ladybug is 6. And I will say it again as I have probably said everytime I talk about her being added to our family. Sometimes God really knows what He is doing, even when you wonder how in the world He could be right. We were TOTALLY surprised when we found out we were adding a third child to our family. Timing was not so great, and I was not so sure I was ready. Yet, every year she gets older I am that much more confident God knew exactly what He was doing. And, it's no surprise really..because He seems to have a good track record of doing that my whole life. I can not even begin to imagine our family with the 4 of us. We are a family of 5 and that is exactly as it should be. Happy Birthday my sweet little bug! How blessed are we to call you ours....
