My kids sure did get blessed in the dad department. We have very much become an outside, fishing, national geographic kind of family in the past 9 years. We have the kind of dad that thinks it would be cool to make a big map and try and see every national park in the US. We also have the kind of dad that goes to an alligator ranch and when the man asks anyone if they can name the 4 species of alligators...ours raises his hand and proceeds to say them all. The man doing the tour then says he can count on one hand how many times someone has been able to do that in all his years of giving tours. Yep. That is our dad! We also have the kind of dad that comes home from work and sometimes before he even eats dinner is taking one or three children down the road to fish. Or taking one up to the clubhouse to rent a golf cart and drive around while eating Snicker bars and drinking rootbeer. Yep. That is our dad. I could go on and on about how great Drew is and I know he isn't told near enough how much we love him and are thankful he works so hard to provide us a wonderful life. Even Jack can't get enough of him!! :) We spent the day in New Oleans going to the aquarium and grabbing some lunch in the French Quarter. A fun and action packed day....couldn't imagine it any other way.
