Baskets

We made these today! It was so fun...and totally messy, but not too bad. Borrowed the idea from one of my favorite website's. You need a plastic container that you wrap in clear plastic wrap before you start stringing. My advice...cuts LOTS of string. Lots! 17 inches each. Soak them in a bowl of Elmer's white glue and let the kids go to town. We used flat, round containers (like a pie plate) to soak the string in so that they could get their hands in there without too much effort. Once they are done, let it sit overnight and then the next day peel off the plastic wrap. Voila...a basket your kids can put their little pieces of who knows what laying all over their rooms.
