Pitter-Patter

This is the scene lately in our house. That is Caleb tucked away in his "fort" that he built for reading. That is right.... reading. Makes my heart go pitter-patter. To a former child book worm there is nothing I love more than to see my children pick up books and read because they want to, not because they have to. This summer the kids were FORCED to read everyday in their rooms. Yep, even little Maddie..who can't quite read yet. But, she can flip through pages and explore, and that is just as good. So lately Caleb will come home from school, climb into his fort, and read. This week it's Moby Dick which he checked out from his library at school. He informed me that he already has his sights on an Abraham Lincoln book next. Seriously....who took my son?!?! Drew and I are beyond excited with his new found love of books, and are doing all we can to cultivate it. There is nothing better than getting lost in a good book......
