Leaving on a Jet Plane
I am leaving in a few hours for my long-awaited and anticipated "Girl's Weekend"!!! It's been WAY too long since I've seen my roommates from college and we are hanging out this weekend in Charleston. It will be nice to get away and recharge for the school year that is just around the corner. There is a perfect little pool, and some fantastic shopping calling my name.....And daddy is on 24-hour duty this weekend. The kids are going to have a blast doing all the things I say no to like ice cream all the time, staying up late, and eating super-fun stuff. And there is a trip to the zoo planned in there somewhere. Thanks daddy for letting this tired mommy get away for a few days. :)
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
