Yesterday at about 3:30 we were all busy doing stuff around the house in various locations. Maddie was in the kitchen coloring and I heard a, "DADDY!!" come from her mouth. Not quite sure what was going on, and knowing it was only 3:30, I expected her to be sitting alone when I walked around the corner...and there stood daddy. I almost feel over in shock!! And I also had just finished my run on the treadmill and knew I was looking pretty good! :) Drew had gotten tickets to the IMAX in downtown Indianapolis and we all had less than one hour to get ready and out the door. Super, fun surprise for the kids and me! So we went down early, had dinner, and made it to the IMAX just in time for the 7:00 movie. Afterwards we walked around on the boardwalk and I took this picture of the kids hanging on the elephant. The weather was SO nice......thanks daddy for a fun night!!Friday, July 17, 2009

Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
