Summer starts for us in 3 days! Today Maddie and I worked on getting the art caddy all ready to go. We bought just about every Crayola item at Target to put on it. This little beauty will sit on my table from now until August along with LOTS of construction paper, coloring books, notebook paper, cards/envelopes, and whatever else will entertain them and keep them away from the TV. And I always add some form of a fun snack somewhere on it everyday. Snacking while crafting is a must!! I think I'm more excited than they are this year for summer. We can actually be outside almost all day long this year. Quite a change from the south where you have to hide from the sun from 11-3! 3 days and counting.........
Mom of three super fun and super cool children (Caleb, Grace, Madeline) and wife to one super cool dude - Andrew. Just living life and trying to do the best we can to mold these little sprouts into who God designed them to be. And trying to be "IN" the moments with them rather than looking back and wishing we had spent more time together as a family. And...to be content. Content with where I am in life as a wife and mom. Content with the circumstances God brings into our lives. Life moves by at warp speed, and I want to be present for it. (Jer. 29:11)
